Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

Burning sensation while urinating is one of the symptoms of urinary tract infection.
But there are some other conditions where you might experience this symptom, excessive amount of calcium in your urine, stone in your bladder ect.

If i was your caring doctor i would tell you to not worry too much and give you some advice to help your urinary tract get clean and o an urine test to see if you have an infection or not:
-have plenty of liquids,2 or 3 liters per day
-rose tea, chamomile tea,1 or 2 cup each day
-cranberry juice or orange juice
-urinate always just after having sex
-don't hold your urine for long

These advice work if you have an infection, but they also help your urinary tract stay clean and protect if from new infections.
Probably you will feel better in a couple of days but remember
If your symptoms persist,or if you have new symptoms like pain in your lower abdominal part,or fewer,or presence of blood in urine, i suggest you check up with your family doctor to take a prescription of antibiotics and do an ultrasound of your urinary tract to see if there are any stones or not.

If you have any other question, feel free to ask me.
