Is Breast Cancer Genetic?
i am wanting to enquire about Breast Cancer ... i just found out that my Aunty has just been diognosed with it.. :( Also my grandma told me maybe i should get a check as she had breast cancer 7 years ago as well as her mother in law.. also on my mums side my great aunty got breast cancer in both breasts... just wondering what i should do from here?... i am only 22 so i dont know how likely it is? I read something about having the gene for B/C?

Breast cancer has a genetic component and people with family history have a higher probability to get breast cancer at some point of their life. I am not going into the technicalities about which gene(s) are responsible and the mechanism behind. You should remain in periodic checkup and play safe so that it does not get missed out.
