Is Body Imbalance Related To Thyroid Disorder?

I have a feeling of unbalance all the time. Went to the dr and he checked my ears and they are fine. I am aways feeling like I am waking around drunk or something. I am on blood pressure pills and not sure if that is the reason. I feel shakey and I find it gets worse when I am straining myself. Very frustrating. Blod work has been done and dr said boarder line diabetic and thyroid is up a bit. Thoughts jane

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
I would suggest u to consult your cardiologist to review your anti hypertensive medication and get an ekg to look for your heart rhythm also.
I would also suggest you to do serum electrolytes as low or high sodium level is associated with central nervous system symptoms.
Hyperthyroidism can cause ur heart to beat faster and hence can potentially cause problems.
Thanks
