Hello Destiny and welcome,

There are diffferent ways to confirm pregnancy. Urine and blood test are two of them. A faint urine test may be due to low levels of the hormone HCG detected by this test. It is seen if the test is done too early or if the pregnancy has gone bad called missed abortion.

I am not sure if the doctor would refuse you or not. But there are two possible ways out of this situation. One is to get 2 blood tests 48 hours apart and see if the hormone level is rising. If it is then most likely the pregnancy is alive and well. Second is to get an ultrasound scan to look for the baby. If the baby is well in the scan then blood test may not be needed.

Your doctor will best help you with this considering the complete history and the duration of pregnancy. So see your doctor as soon as possible and let him decide.

Hope this satisfies your query.
