Hi there, I have understood your concern. I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

The very first and important sign of pregnancy is a missing periods. So if you have crossed your dates by now, then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of doubt blood beta HCG test will be of help.

As you have mentioned that you are planning for pregnancy, I will like you to know following facts and suggestions -

1. In a woman with regular cycles day 10 to 20 of the cycle is the most fertile period of cycle. If you have unprotected sex act in this period then you have chance to get pregnant.

2.You can get your HSG - hysterosalpingography done, to know about the patency of your fallopian tubes. This test can be done in first 10 days of the cycle.

3. Your partner's semen analysis will give idea about the quality and quantity of sperms.

4. For my patients who are planning to have baby, I usually suggest to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, salads and vegetables in daily diet. Avoid deep fried foods, , bakery products and refined sugars. Use of vitamin B 12 and Folic acid, omega 3 supplements on daily basis at least 3 months before you plan to get pregnant is advisable. This will help to prevent various complications during the pregnancy.

May God bless you with a bundle of joy.
Happy parenting

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
