I have a hard non moveable lump directly in front of my ear at the top of my cheekbone,.that was a smaller pea size and is growing. in the last couple months it has grown to the size of an m and m. my doc did a round of antibiotics and it did not change at all. it is starting to become bothersome. there has never been any discharge .. it is slightly red .. it seemed a little redder before antibiotics. after a round of anti biotics for this cyst and then a new one on my chest a week later and 20 days of antibiotics in a little over a month, I now have c diff and am on flagyl. My doc is putting out fires . he did refer me to dernatology. Will a dermatologist do a biopsy? I am concered because i had a shingle directly above my eye and that nerve is still firing. the lump seems to be pulling on those same nerves and it is starting to hurt.
