Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi
I have gone through query.Based on that it looks to be ankylosing spondylitis. This is a progressive disease and can be controlled by taking long term drugs.Yes,it' has heriditary association. With time whole of spine looses it's flexibility and becomes like a bamboo.
So early the treatment better the control.Have you been investigated for HLAB27 blood test?
You can contact me directly if require at link http://bit.ly/drmchugh
