Is Another Varicose Vein Surgery Necessary Here?

hello dr. I am a 67 year old female. 171 cm 110 kg. On Tenbloka 50mg, Eltroxin 0,15mg, Cilift and Premarin (Vaginal cream) Hysterectomy 1980. Had my first varicose vein operation (stripped from groin to ankle) +/- 30 years ago. Since then had about 4 or 5 more operations and injections. My problem is still there and getting worse. Thick veins all over my calves and feet, especially behind my left knee. The blood circulation in my legs is not wonderful, is it advisable to have another operation?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi dear thanks for the query on HCM

hi suggests stockings would be a better option at present.
class II varicose vein stocking to be worn above knee customised entire except at night and while athing.
get a venous doppler of the lowerlimb and get the deep venous system assessed. if it suggests chronic venous insuffiiency , contact a vascular surgeon for either valvuloplasty or other procedure.
please visit a surgeon.

thank you
