hello
welcome to health care magic.
well you need two mammaogrphs if there is any doubt in your mammograph. it may be due to an artifact or just a transient leison. so a repeat one is needed. do not worry. this is for your safety. if there is any doubtful/suspicioud pathology then a different view in the mammography may be needed like a magnification of a particular area. also an ultrasonography of the breast should be combined with it.

I had a mammogram last Thursday and the office called yesterday requesting I come today for an ultrasound of my left breast due to noted nodular density . I just completed the ultrasound and another mammogram of my left breast and I am a nervous wreck...... It may be Friday or early next week before I receive the results.....can you explain nodular density and the risks of this being cancer???

My annual screening mammogram shows interval development of architectural distortion in the right upper breast, anterior third and best seen on the MLO view. Fluctuation of bilateral nodular densities is compatible with history of cysts. Calcifications are stable. My OB/Gyn examined me the week before the mammogram and didn t feel anything suspicious. Since this finding is in the anterior third of the breast, wouldn t he had felt something? I have heterogeneously dense breasts with numerous cysts. I m 54 years old and perimenopausal. My follow up tests aren t for another 2 weeks. Is this a worrisome finding?

Hello - I was just called yesterday from my hospital and was told I needed to be re-checked after a mammogram was done last Friday, April 19th. I was told that changes have occurred since my last check over a year ago and that I had two focal areas of breast nodules that area size 12x5x5 mm; and another 10x3x3mm. Of course, I am concerned and no one will no if they are cancerous until I am re-checked...just wondering if that is a common size for fibroids or just fatty tissue. I am going back for pictures and an ultrasound.

Hi, I had a mammogram in April and everything was fine. I am 50 years old and have noticed leakage on my bra. Can this be a symptom of menopause? Is there a cream I can use? My insurance was cut at the end of April that s why I made sure I got my Mammogram.
