Is Another HIV Test Necessary If The Current One Shows Negative?

Hi Doctor, four months back i went to a NGO(hiv ) and donated some amount there i thought of getting tested too. the girl who took my blood sample kept the cotton with spirit on slab after using on me . I am really worried what if there was any drops of blood there, coz the person who tested before me was HIV. i got the hiv test done after 4 months and it came back negative. it was hiv sopt test . is the test reliable or i need to go for another test after 6 months. please help.

1. I read your query and i am happy to help you. You already mentioned that before you the blood was taken from a hiv patient
2. You need not be worried because they will use sterile syringes
3. The result of hiv rapid test is negative after 4 months of exposure to risk so there will be no problem
4. Even thought you had doubt in mind then do WESTERN BLOT test which is confirmative test and give best result after 6 weeks of exposure to risk
