Is Zerodol CR Advisable For Acute Osteoarthritis?

I am 58 years old and suffer from acute osteoarthiritis of the right hip and surgeons have recomended hsurgery. (THR). I take Zerodol CR 200mg every second or third day and also go for physiotherapy to avoid surgery. My condition has improved somewhat and would like to know if I can continue to take Zerodol CR for pain relief. Can I avoid surgery altogether?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.

Anterior hip replacement surgery gives good results.

Choose good quality of implant material which will last longer.

Physiotherapist will help you better to learn more exercises in proper protocol.

Diet rich in calcium and protein will help for recovery.

You may not avoid surgery ,you can just post pone till you want.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
