Is Vitamin D Deficiency And Thyroid Linked To Each Other?

Hi, I am 28 yr old female. I have TSH levels of 4.3 and doc suggested me Thyronorm dose of 12.5 for 2 months. My tests today say I have vitamin D deficiency (16.5 nmol/l) for which I have been prescribed with arachitol 6L injection twice a week. Also doc suggested now the Remylin D(which has Vit D3 salt also along with other salts). My first question is:

1. Is Vitamin D deficiency and thyroid linked to each other? shall I continue with injection + Remylin D and avoid thyroid medication?

2. Is Remylin D a right tab for vitamin d deficiency or for nerve disorder?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

Vitamin D deficiency and has no relation with your thyroid disorder or thyroid medicines. It is totally different condition. So you should take medicine for both condition.

For vitamin D deficiency you can take drugs like lumia 60k once or twice a week for 6 week.
It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Take sun bath or sun exposure because it is the natural source of vitamin D.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you very good health.
