General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

These medications, which are used to treat heart problems, blood clotting, and Parkinson disease, do not affect the immune system and so I would not expect the immune system to be weakened because of these drugs.

There are also no serious interactions between these medications, except that both metoprolol and digoxin can lower the heart rate, and so the patient should be monitered for this and if it gets too low, the medications may need to be adjusted.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
