Is Regestrone The Right Medicine For Menopausal Symptoms?
Hi, m46 , & having menupause syomtoms of heavy menses of 21 days my doc gave me ovrall mensens stopped but not completely spotted was always there now she has given regestrone tab iwant to know it wiil work or not please suggust i have gone through usg also nothing to worry about......
Regestrone can be used for bleeding due to anovulatory cycles as it may happen while a woman approaches menopause. On the other hand, other causes for the bleeding should be ruled out. You may need a pap smear, a transvaginal ultrasound and in some cases, if the bleeding is not controlled and the other examinations do not identify the likely cause, D&C is needed (curettage).
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
