General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern.
Primolut N is norethisterone, a synthetic progesterone used for irregular period.
Also used for to delayed/preponds the period.
Some time spotting during pregnancy may be due to low progesterone.
Because of low progesterone, pregnancy can not be carried.
So It can be given to maintain pregnancy in molar pregnancy or to delayed period.

But never take this injection without consulting gynecologist.
You required close follow up.
And do Abdomen USG

Hope this may help you.
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
