General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would advise you to have a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Any time a woman misses a period, this is the first test to be done.

if you are not pregnant, then there is nothing to worry about. You just keep an eye on it to see if you will get your periods in the next 2-3 weeks. Normally you should get them soon.

If you do not get your periods in the next 2-3 weeks, it may be good to see your doctor.

I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
