YYYY@YYYY Doctors may I please ask question ? I am a disabled veteran with spinal cord pain I have had ACD 5-6-7 with fusion back in 06 I have problems with a pins and needle sensation in left forearm left pinky and ring finger and have left foot go numb the Va sent me home cervical traction unit that I use about 3 times a week ,I also have had at least 5 or 6 MRI last one in 09 in my L-4-5 area I have large bony fragment causing nerve impingement or it feels like a vise around my leg and tremendous pain in belt line my question to you is 2 fold are MRI better than C-Scan and do you think taking 32 pills a day are bad ,I know that is a stupid question but the VA will not pay for Laser spine Surgery Thank you for any advice
If you have got MRI scans earlier then you can get it done once again to address your pain issue. MRI scan is better than CT scan to see nerves and spinal cord related problems. Taking 32 pills needs to be discussed with your pain doctor in detail. Without knowing the pill components in detail it is not possible to give a complete answer.
