Is HIV Caused Due To Fluid Exchange During Sex Only?
Hello Doctor,i went to a sexworker in amsterdam few weeks back.we didnt have intercourse nor oral sex nor mouth to mouth kissing.i just kissed and sucked her breasts ,neck and a gentle kiss near her lower belly above vagina(didnt lick or suck).is there a possiblility of getting infected by HIV due to this. also i have fistula problem and i sat nacked on the bed. is there a chance of getting infected by sitting or lying on the infected bed sheet. the bed was dry and i didnt feel anything wet.i had dry lips due to cold amsterdam weather. pls advise

It is very unlikely that you got HIV from the activities you mention. As you said, HIV is more likely to be transmitted when there is more fluid exchange. HIV is not likely to be passed by sitting on the bed, even if you have a fistula. My opinion is that you are at low risk from this situation. If you continue to worry about it, it may be helpful to get an HIV test in a few months to be sure.
