Glycomet contains metformin which belongs to the group of antidiabetic medications known as biguanides is used in women diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome disease (PCOD). Glycomet improves the menstrual cycle regularity and lowers a person's body mass index (BMI), testosterone and luteinizing hormone within 6 months of treatment in women with PCOD who are normal weight or overweight. Glycomet is believed to work by improving insulin sensitivity which is commonly associated with PCOD. By lowering your insulin level, Glycomet allows you to cycle more normally. You will get benefits from taking Glycomet alone or with Clomid. For your hypothyroidism, you should take Thyroxine according to your doctor's advice.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
