Is Gabapentin Better Than Olanzapine For The Treatment Of Peripheral Neuropathy?
I have bipolar 1 and stage 3 kidney disease. I am 74 years young...I also have peripheral neuropathy caused by b12 deficiency. I am on 2.5 mg olanzapine and want to get off it. Can Gabapentin (100 mg) replace the olanzapine? I was just diagnosed with wet macular degeneration ( am on a wait and see basis right now). Is Gabapentin safe for my eye?

gabapentin don't replace olanzapine.
olanzapine is for your bipolar.
gabapentin is an anticonvulsant. used for peripheral neuropathy in adults.
You may take both .if you have any side effects stop the drug.
gabapentin may cause blurred vision. usually no serious side effects occur in eye.
