Is Crocin advisable during pregnancy?

Hii I am 28 weeks pregnant, in morning today I had a cold milk shake after which I felt shivering and cold, I rested for half an hour and noticed that there is no shivering and o ve been sweating because of the switched off fans and other precautions, I check my temperature is 102 although I am not feeling Cold or any shivering , should I take crocin or just rest will do. Please reply .

Hi..
I have gone through your query and can very well understand your concern..

As per your complain Crocin contains Paracetamol + Caffine and caffine is not advisable during pregnancy but Paracetamol is considered relatively safe for pain and fever during pregnancy..

So if you want to take you should take a plain Paracetamol tablet and not crocin..
You can also do cool compresses on the forehead and extremities inorder to reduce body temperature..
Take ample of fluids to avoid dehydration and also a nutritious diet.
You should take ample of rest and should consult your gynaecologist if the condition does not improve..
