Is Colicaid Advisable For Severe Srying In Infants?

Hello doc... My baby is 50 days old. She cries a lot after feeding 10 mins she will play then again she start crying & take out some curd milk.. She is on breastfeeding.. Actually she has gas problem. Doc has given gas syrup deflat bt still she cry??? Doc told if she cry a lot give her colicaid 5 drops 3 times a day!!! After giving colicaid drops she will sleep.. Is colicaid drops are safe for her??! Can I give her daily??? Or whenever she cry??? Does colicaid has any sideeffects????

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Infantile Colics;
Colicaid should help. can be given off and on or SOS.
Infantile colics are the normal phenomenon occurring to the new born babies.
Burping should be done properly to reduce the eructations/ gas/ regurgitation.
Continue breast feeding/avoid bottle feeds.
