Intermittent Headaches Post Root Canal Treatment. Reason?

HI, Day 2 post root canal treatment of 5th upper left tooth.
Was experiencing intermittent headaches during the night for 3
nights before the treatment, now having to take ibuprofen every 4 hours
during the day also.
Headaches temporal left side more than right and also increased
sensitivity to front left 1st tooth.
Dreading going to bed....
My dentist said I had long nerves x2 in the one tooth, she packed
it and I've to go back next week....help
