IS It Normal To Have Painful Ears And Difficulty In Swallowing When Suffering From Hives?

I have had issues with hives in the past&i noticed when it bothers me it bothers my throat as well. I never really worried&would just use benadryl to help with my throat feeling closed. Lately I've been having alotta pain in my left ear&difficulty swallowing. I also noticed I have red fleshy bumps on the back of my tongue, and they dont hurt or swell or anything at all, theryre just there. With the ear pains&troublie swallowing it scares me a little what could possibly be my issue????

hello. the bumps on the back of your tongue may be enlarged lymph follicles and ,ay represent a chronic infection. it is likely beacause of them you are having difficulty in swallowing, the pain in the ear may be due to referred pain from the tongue itself. please meet your ENT doctor for examination and further advice. thanks
