Iam working ina software compnay , mu husband also is an engineer. Our work is mainly sedentary and we tend to it outside a lot. Both have put on lot of weight and want to reduice weight. Now we are planning to take foods forn the home. Can any one tell me the way of cooking to reduce less consumption of fat and help us to reduce weight ?
Use unsaturated oil to cook, avoid fried and oily food items, take good amount of protiens, reduce carbs. take skimmed milk rather than normal milk. eat small amounts of food at regular intervals rather than eating 3 meals, divide into 5-6 servings. More specific advise, you will need diet chart to follow along with exercises.
In order to reduce weight your diet should be high in fiber and low in fat. Choose complex carbohydrates like wheat, ragi, jowar which are high in fiber rather than using rice and refined flours.Take fruits as whole instead of taking it in the form of juices.Use at least two servings of vegetables daily, restrict root vegetables as it is high in simple sugars.
Choose steaming or cooking in pressure which helps to retain the nutrients and there is not much oil used. Instead of deep fat frying choose to grill or bake foods where taste is not altered much. Recommended oil is half liter per person per month. Aviod using saturated fats like ghee ,butter, and full fat salad dressings like mayo sauce. Use sprouted grams as it is a good source of fiber and include green leafy vegetables at least twice in a week.Use skimmed or low fat milk and milk products as it will reduce the fat content in the diet and choose low fat products like soy milk which is high in protein and low in fat.
Hi- I am inquiring information in regards to a little weight loss. Im 52, in menopause since 47 ( no meds only vitamins) I am a runner and recently doing Crossfit-to help recent 10lb gain. Im at 124 at 5ft 4 inches and have always weighed 114. I eat practically gluten free, no red meat or pork only chicken, fruit ,veggies. My clients are speaking a lot of HGH and HCG, I have every intention to get this 10-12 off but want to make an educated decision-any suggestions

I was browsing online for answers about chronic constipation and i came across your website. i'm going to just tell you everything and if you can help i would greatly appreciate it. a close friend of mine, 21yrs of age, whom i've known for years now is suffering from chronic constipation. when i first met her she ate everything except meat, fish or anything that was alive to be into food. now she barely can eat due to pain and not being able to have a bowel movement. she was eatting fiber one cereal every night but a doctor told her that she needs to stop because an xray showed her small intestine was completely full. she hasnt been able to release any of it in MONTHS. shes dropping weight like crazy because shes afraid to eat. her stomach bloats up instantly even after consuming liquids. sometimes theres pelvic pain, feels like her stomach is going to explode, says it feels like a chainsaw inside and is always laying in bed due to the pain. she was just hospitalized and they are discharging her. they made her drink prune juice, milk of mag, had a bunch of enemas, xrays but they cant figure out why its not working. she released maybe a tiny bit of stool in 5 days under their supervision. i know your website says consultations arent free but we are out of money from trying to figure this all out. if you can just be so kind to help or anything that would be amazing. every doctor and gastro shes been to just turns her away and this is a serious problem. thank you!
Hi, I went on the hcg diet, and took the drops for 61 days. I developed constipation during the last half of that time and still have it, one month later, and it doesn't seem to help to eat lots of fiber. I don't feel bad, but could it be a need for more enzymes? I didn;'t have this problem before the diet, as long as I got enough fiber.
My daughter was constipated The first week in Jan. Her father said it was resolved. A week or so later my daughter developed severe diarrhea this lasted for 8 days. When I got my daughter for visitation I took her to the doctor Monday and she was diagnosed with severe constipation.. She passed a large amount of dark dry stool two days ago but since then her stool is yellow in color and full of mucus. I am already waiting her doctors call but I am nervous and do not want to wait for an answer. She is taking fiber pills three times a day and on a high fiber diet now.
