I Have Been Experiencing Severe Anxiety Attacks And Hot Flashes

Im a 20 year old male, and have been experiencing severe anxiety as well as hot flashes. I ve been to my doctor, and he checked my thyroid and everything was normal. The flashes usually occur at random, like when I m in class or just with friends talking. I always feel hot and when I get these flashes they spread from my head, neck and chest and I always sweat quite bad when this happens. This makes me miserable and I dont know what to do, my doctor just says everything is fine. Please help!

hello i read your question and its very clear that u are having sympathetic overactivity that mean ur nervous system gets excited in certain conditions.this can be because of certain medical problem like thyroid etc and also due to anxiety neurosis.i feel u should consult any psychoanalyst with all ur reports.
Ayurveda Specialist Dr. Rajesh Lakhanpaul's  Response
Dear it is clear case of excessive pitt formation/ accumulation in body. In Ayurveda we recommend aamla gulkand praval shakha pishti and moti bhasam in such cases as all these are tonics and have cool effect on body.

Psychiatrist Dr. Pawan Adatia's  Response
it seems that your anxiety symptoms are uncued(without any precipitating factor). if other medical illness is rule out, it is possible that you are suffering from panic disorder. it is disorder where pts suffer from cued or uncued severe anxiety episodes lasting for very shor time. they are self remmiting. anxiety may be associated with feeling of doom with difficulty in respiration. please think & ask your doctor to consider diagnosis of panic diaoder which is usually treated by psychiatrist with medication & relaxation therapy or CBT.
