I m 17 years old (150 lbs, 5 6 ) and was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia about two weeks ago. I m also suffering from mild depression. Is there any vitamins or supplements I can take to increase the platelet count? Upon admission into the hospital it was 50, then 40, 30 and a week ago, 75. They haven t yet figured out what is causing this but I am curious myself. Thanks.
