Hello, this is Dr Ahmad
Well, when comparing your life before the job and your life now, a lot of changes may have occured including the activities, the lifestyle and time given for food. I recommend you watch the rate of weight loss in the coming period and if you are loosing weight inspite of increasing your diet, then better consult a doctor.

I read your last post... But does this seem normal? I mean I was used to working at sit down office jobs alot an this is my 1st job where I have to do alot of moving and walking... I heard that people working in retail do loose alot of weight. Can that be true? I just thought for working in retail for only 3months and I lost 17 lbs was a big weight loss. Went from 155 to 138. I actually still eat alot because I work in the mall so I am always tempted to eat at one of the restaurants in the mall when I go on break which I usually do. My diet consist of alot of chinese food and sometimes pizza and baked ziti. I usually eat these things daily from restaurants in the mall. Also my height is 5'5 and I was looking at weight charts for different heights and it said that 138 is the right weight size for my height. Is that correct. Since I lost weight it seems as if im loosing my appetite and Im not hungry as much. I wanted to find a way to gain weight. I just want to set a diet plan thats healthy where I maintain a good weight size for my height. Could you help me please?

Hi Jacquetta,
Welcome to HCM.
Weight loss may be due to the busy schedule and workload, leaving very little time for you to have breaks for lunch and snacks. Try to compensate this by eating a good sumptuous dinner.
If you feel that this weight loss could be due to some disease condition, then you should consult a doctor and get a thorough investigation done to exclude any organic cause for the weight loss.
Wish you all the best.
