I Am Having Some Problems With My Periods, Should I See My GP ?

I was wondering if you could help. i'm having some problems with my periods. i'm on the pill, have been for about 2 yrs. i normally start my periods on the 2nd day of the white pill, but these last 2 times have started a little later and haven't lasted up to the normal amount of time eg 5/7 days. should i see my GP ? is this something to be concerned about?
