I Am A Hypochondriac And I Have Tiny Bump Under My Skin. Could It Be Cancer Or It Is Allergy Only ?

I m 17 and i am terrified. I am a hypochondriac and I assume everything is cancer or something terrible. A couple days ago I felt a tiny bump under my skin in my bikini line. It wasn t hard and i was able to move it around but I feel like it s stuck. When I lift the skin I feel like it moves around but theirs like a ridge in the bone. I also have been messing with it non stop and it s red and bruised the area is sore. But I m so scared because it is hard now and when I touch it it doesn t move but when I lift it I feel it all moves around and fine but when I put the skin back it s hard again. I have allergies and I don t know what s wrong with me. I m driving myself crazy. I stop stressing about one thing and then I find something else.

Hi,thanks for query. Why to worry this much at this age ? please relax, there is no need to panic. The bump that you are feeling might a bunch of fat cells or a lymph node which might have enlarged due to some local issue like infection or otherwise. It has started giving trouble to you because of constant irritation that you are doing, please stop this and visit your doctor and get the issue clarified.Nothing can be cured or diagnosed just by non stop thinking.Think positive and visit your doctor.Talk to your doctor about this negative thinking also.
wishing you good health.

Hi dear
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
I can understand your problem. This is just a lymph node swelling. It is unlikely to be any cancer with these features. So , please do not worry and relax. There muste be some inflammation or infection in your lower limb and so you have this. This will go back soon.
You can visit your Physician and get examined to be sure of it.
Take care

Would it make a difference if I was on my period, I also had an inflamed lyphmnode a couple weeks a ago. And messed with that as well and it was around the same area the thing is the bump was big at all it's just hard when I completely flex and when I bend my leg it does move around. I just feel like theirs a ridge and it's on both sides. I'm just so stressed out. I have an appointment next Friday. It's just in my head I feel like their is something wrong with me and their has to be something wrong with me.
