Hi I have got spasm in my throat. I already have reflexive esophagus problem 1 year before. But this is the first time I am having this issue. After I started using kin gingival mouth wash for gum infection, I am seeing this problem. Can you please advice me what should I do now because the throat is very painful. I currently have cold as well. So I am not sure if it is just sore throat. Yesterday I had a feeling of lump in my throat. I had gelusil and it was better yesterday night. Today I don t have lump feeling but whenever I swallow my saliva, or whenever I had food or tablet, I was having difficulty swallowing. Please advice
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of problems starting after the use of Kin gingival mouth wash. You have problems of esophageal spasms and now had painful swallowing, sore throat. There is a possibility of Pharyngitis enhanced by the gargles. I would advise you to consult an ENT for clinical evaluation, examination, tests if required and you also get a proper prescription based treatment of an antibiotic, PPI, Antacid like Mucaine gel, and whichever your ENT thinks so. In future : Get an Upper GI endoscopy as you have GERD like symptoms to know the exact problems upper GI has and to have a long term treatment to get a permanent cure.
I hope this answers your query.
