How To Treat The Lump In The Varicose Veins?

I have bad varicose veins up and down my legs. Today for no reason I have a lump on the back of my thigh that has some bruising and some redness. It is somewhat hard and raised about the size of a half dollar. It is very sore to the touch. Is it just a bad bruise or a blood clot? Could it be serious?

Varicose veins are associated with superficial thrombophlebitis that is inflammation of the smaller veins and venules present near the affected major vein. You need some anti-inflammatory drug and raise the leg while sleeping and wearing an crape bandage over the whole of the limb starting from toe towards the thigh. It will reduce the pain and the swelling. It is not a bruise or blood clot.
