How To Treat The Feeling Of Being Choked After Tablet Intake?

I just started taking Doxycycline 3 days ago. Today I took the pill and laid down and when I woke up it feels like the pill is stuck in the back of my throat. Im very nervous now and wonder if I should go to the hospital or will the feeling go away on its own. Is there anything I can take for this problem. I haven t taking the pill again because it feels like its still stuck in my throat.
