How To Treat The Bruise Of The Tendon On The Thumb Side Of The Wrist?
I was recently hospitalized & during the attempt at my IV, I believe she hit my tendon on the thumb side of my wrist. My bruise has gotten much larger & darker over the past several days. It has spread to the underside of my wrist as well. It is painful when I move my wrist or thumb. Should I be concerned? Thanks.

With these details, I am inclined to go for an X-ray of the wrist. However, a bruise may spread a little along with a change of color, that is its normal course and nothing to worry about.
