How To Treat The Blood Blisters On The Back Of The Thigh?

small unexplained blood blister on back of thigh? I am 23 and in good physical condition, very athletic. I tried to pop it with a disinfected needle and now it is painful and much larger. It is the weekend and I have a doctor's appointment next week, but is there anything I should do right now? Hot compress, antibiotic ointment, bandage?....

Hi

Since you have developed a blood blister, you should try not to touch it too much .
Try to avoid any friction to the area.
You should wear loose cotton clothes.
Avoid pricking the lesion.
You can cover it with a soft bandage to avoid any further trauma. You can apply a topical antibiotic cream to prevent any superinfection .
You can see a local doctor soon for further management .
