Unfortunately, the available treatments for stroke are only possible when administered in the first hours after a stroke at most in the first six hours after the onset of symptoms. After that period the damage due to the obstruction of the blood flow is established, there is no treatment to reverse that. At this stage, management consists of preventing other strokes from happening and in preventing complications (such as infections, deep vein thrombosis, hemorrhagic transformation etcetera). Gradually some (usually partial) improvement is expected, but that will be thanks to the unaffected areas of the brain compensating for the lost ones, not thanks to medication. The only treatment to help that process is physical therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
