General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi

Thanks for your query.

Noted the history and understood the concerns. Drinking beer can cause multiple problems including gastritis, GERD, kidney swelling, liver problems, muscle aches due to accumulation of excessive of fluid and so on.
Since you problems are related to drinking beer, it is surely a problem related to it.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Never to take any beer or other alcoholic beverages.
Get the blood, urine and stool checked.
Ultrasonography of abdomen for liver, pancreas, kidneys and so on.
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor, correlation with reports and further advised on medications as would appropriate.
If the back ache persists then go for an opinion of an Orthopedic surgeon too for proper evaluation, investigations and management.

Take Care
