How To Treat Reoccurring Issue Of Itchy Eyes, Tingling Throat, Red And Irritated Cheek After Some Meals
Hello. I seem to be having a reoccurring issue over the last month with itchy eyes, tingling throat and a red and irritated cheek after some meals. It doesn t happen every time I eat something. Iv tried to keep a track of meals to find a common food and initially thought it was tomatoes however I have since eaten a couple of meals that did not contain tomatoes where I have had the same symptoms so am now wondering if it may be wheat. The red irritated cheek and itchy eyes etc are usually gone within an hour.
Your symptoms are suggestive of some food allergies or deficency of certain vitamins may also lead to inflammation in the oral mucosa like cheek , palate, throat etc. For allergies due to foods you have to consult a physician and get the cause confirmed. A simple blood test showing complete blood count will confirm allergy if any. start with multivitamin supplements for 7 to 10 days and vitamin C lozenges will help in resolving the problem. avoid alcohol , carbonated drinks , tobacco chewing and smoking . Apply oral antiseptic ,analgesic ointments like dentogel or mucogel topically over the affected area. Maintain good oral hygiene and drink lots of water and keep yourself hydrated.
i hope this helps, take care.
