What Causes Tingling Sensation On Body After Alcohol Intake?

My tongue and throat have recently started to feel weird after drinking beer and fizzy drinks. The tingling sensation whilst drinking beers has doubled at least, the same goes for the throat. After the tingling has subsided in the throat there is a warm feeling as if drinking spirits.

Understanding your concern. As per your query tingling sensation on body after alcohol intake is due to a condition known as alcohol flush reaction which leads to tingling, flushing and numbness feel of oral cavity and body. Another possible cause is some minerals and vitamins absorption got obstructed after intake of alcohol which can lead to tingling symptoms. I would suggest you to abstain your self from alcohol completely. Try to taper off dose in the starting and then stop eventually. Drink plenty of water and fluids. Visit general physician once and have a detailed evaluation done in order to rule out any medical causes which could be causing your symptoms. Take diet rich in multivitamins.
