How To Treat Pinkish Blotches Around Bikini Line?

Hi, I'm not typically sexually active, but I have pinkish blotches around my bikini line, at first I thought they were patches of dry skin but now I'm not so sure. They're not itchy or raised and they're mainly on the outer corners of the bikini line near my thighs, there's 2 patches of them any idea what they are and how to get rid of them? Thanks.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your history and description, the possibilities I can think of are fungal infection, intertrigo, flexural psoriasis and contact dermatitis ( to elastic material of undergarments).
The treatment depends on the exact diagnosis.
Fungal infection responds to 1% clotrimazole or 2% ketoconazole twice a day for 15 days.
Intertrigo occurs mainly due to friction due to rubbing of things. You could use a mild steroid cream containing hydrocortisone for 5-7 days.
Contact dermatitis could occur to elastic material of undergarments or to new undergarments. You could use a mild steroid cream for 7-10 days and try changing the undergarments.
Please consult a good dermatologist who will confirm the diagnosis and treat you appropriately.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
