How To Treat Insomnia Naturally Long After Having Schizophrenia?

I was treated for Schizophrenia from 2002 to 2013. Then my medication was stopped, but sometimes, almost once in two years I was again prescribed for medicine for 1 or 2 months. But sometimes i still face insomnia and then i drink and temporarily for that day i get rid of the problem. Is it (alchol) really helpful in such situations??? I am scared to have the prescribed medicines as it interrupt my normal life and compelled me to be sleepy all the day.

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with insomnia following an intake of alcohol in a coexisting schizophrenic episode I will suggest you minimize or absolutely stop alcohol intake

Alcohol cause sedation when consumed in a high quantity however I will not advice you to take it regarding your insomnia

Instead please take tablet melatonin or diazepam for the sleep disorder and see your physician on appointment days regarding your schizophrenia

I hope this helps Regards
