How To Treat Hoarseness And Mucus With Green Particles While Coughing?
I have had chronic hoarseness for about 2 months. ENT put me on antibiotics, etc., did sinus x-ray that was normal and chest x-ray that was normal. I also have had chronic cough along with this. It is worse in the morning after breakfast at which time I finally can cough up lots of clear mucus that contains a hard green "thing" that looks sorta like what I would blow out my nose. After this spell my hoarseness is very bad for a while. This same episode usually occurs in the late in the evening. The hoarseness has not gone away for a long time.

Hi dear. I am your physician and I have vast experience in Ottorhinolaryngology helping Outpatient and Inpatient and Surgical cases. Well I know whats going on there inside your body.
Dont worry. May be you have chronic Pharyngitis and/or tonsillitis. Physical examination can tell if you have an upper respiratory tract infection. You need Antibiotics (if i was to prescribe at my clinic to you it should have been azithromycin) please consult ENT Specialist & ask him for thorough checkup and suggestion if you need antibiotics.
NOTE:- Take plenty of fluids daily. Gargle and rinse your mouth with some good gargle mouth was solution daily 3,4 times especially before sleeping and after meals or as convenient to you.
Your laryngeal examination is also needed to see if there is something wrong with the larynx and glottis and epiglottis folds( structures inside the throat)
