How To Treat Dizziness, headache And Bloating Of Stomach During Periods?

i am 42 and the older I get, with each period - especially the PMS part of it, I get bad flu like symptoms one that concerns me most is the fact that I get light headed and I need to lay down to rest in order to get better. I also am affected by more sensitivity to getting irritated- less patience, lack of concentration, headaches, skin turns into a mess, more gassy and bloated..... I am basically at the mercy of this and I am not functioning the way I should be and I am wanting to know how to get help in order to having this stop interfering with my family and my job. The extreme exhaustion and other things I describe my doctor says are mainly caused by my ovaries, which are other wise healthy as far as I know. I was thinking If I would get a hysterectomy that all my problems would go away if I no longer would get a period.... any input is greatly appreciated as I am wanting to make a change soon.

hello mam,

The symptoms you have described may be due to the hormonal imbalances. I suggest you to check your hormone levels and also an ultrasound to be done for ovaries. I also suggest you that go for morning walks once your periods are over. This will influence your PMS part and the mood swings you have during your periods.

I would not suggest you to have hysterectomy as this will cause further imbalances in your body even though your period will stop. Hysterectomy is not a matter of choice but is done when its necessary and the doctor feels that it is good for a patient's health. I do not see any importance of hysterectomy here and more over you have not reached your menopausal stage too.

thank you
