Hi, I m a 28yr old female and have been suffering for well over Year now with constipation, diarrhoea and vomiting almost on a daily occurrence. some days I have one or the other but like today I had all three within an a few hours. I have seen Doctors in the past and had been tested for IBS. My mother has all ulceratic colitis and Has been taking medication for last few years for it. my Nan also has problems with her bowels and I digestive system. my younger sister went into hospital Last weekend with similar problems to myself and severe pain because of this I want to get my self diagnosed can you suggest the best route for me please? Any advise is welcome!
* In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination, I do recommend
- complete blood counts
- ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis
- CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis
- colonoscopy and biopsy of small intestine or any other suspicious region of colon
