As your Bartholin cyst abscess is recurring, i would like to suggest to go for Marsupialisation of the abscess and following antibiotics. In this procedure, the simple cut is made and kept open by stitching the edges to the skin for draining of pus. Even though it looks traditional, it is effective in case of recurrent bartholin abscess. Also the recurrence rate is very low comparing to other catheter techniques. Hope this helps.
