How To Treat Acne On The Cheeks?

I have had wisdom teeth that came in about three years ago, since then I have had acne on my cheeks that came around the same time and hasn't really cleared up since. I have headaches and sinus problems because of the teeth but is there any relation between my wisdom teeth and the breakouts on my cheeks?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain acne on the cheeks does not seems to be due to wisdom tooth extraction while sinusitis can occur due to wisdom tooth extraction in case if the floor of the sinus gets perforated during extraction of upper wisdom tooth.
So in case if you have got the upper wisdom tooth extracted and sinusitis and headache started after that you need to get checked by an Oral Physician and an x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.
For acne consult a Dermatologist and he can advise you topical antibiotics like Clindamycin andNiacinamide containing gel, benzolyl peroxide gel and retinoids like Isotretinoin and Adapelene..
Oral antibiotics can also be advised as well as you can be advised chemical peeling and microdermabrasion..
Taking multivitamin supplements, nutritious diet, drinking plenty of water, avoiding oily food and excessive sun exposure can be helpful in faster resolution

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards,
Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
