i had a few dark marks left due to acne which didnt fade in 3 months(usually it takes less than 2 weeks for my acne marks to fade). I used the melalite forte(4% hydroquinone) cream on these spots after washing my face with brevoxyl facewash (benzoyl peroxide). The next day, every spot where i applied melalite forte cream turned red and a patches were seen exactly in those places where i applied this cream. My dermatologist prescribed elocon gel for 1 week and asked me to stop that after a week and continue with retino AC and brevoxyl facewash. After two weeks, i see no difference. The spots have not even lightened. Are these marks permanent? Can i do something to fade these marks asap?
