Please advise as we tried rehabilitation centers, medicines, consultation - and it seems every thing works for him - however he slips now n then. Please suggest further.
Welcome to health care magic family,
Your brother is a chronic schzophrenic and he on Valproate but as he is not under control, his case should evaluate and some change of medicine or some combination of drugs is advised.
I do not think Phensydil or corex has any adverse effect ,on the contrary it may give sedation effect.
Some time E.C.T. also advised.
You consult and discuss with psychiatrist and seek his advice.
ok and bye.

Hello, I have a 24-year-old daughter who has been dealing with a drug addiction for over ten years. She recently had consumed a gread dealm of PCP ( Angel Dust ) and was admitted into the hospital because she was roaming around the streets naked, acting delusional, and having severe mood swings. She was putting herself in harm s way. After being admitted for only a day or so, I spoke to her doctors on the phone. They said that she would be released if she could answer a few questions, in a sane manner. My other daughter and I picked her up, and she was still in bad condition. She had chopped a great deal of her hair off, talking in a strange voice, and behaving insanely. After bringing her home, she slept, woke up, and threatened to hurt me physically. Then, she ran out the door. I could not catch up with her. A few hours later, I located her and brought her to a rehabilitation facility, but they were allowing her to make her own deciscions because she simply sounded sane and voiced a plan of action to eliminate her addiction to marijuiana, pain killers, and other recreational drugs. Sadly, I discovered she has been doing thse drugs behind my back, while still in her rehab outpatient program. Since she is an adult, it has been difficult for me to find laws that would permit me to have her taken away to a drug rehabiltiation facility, where she can stay against her will. She has been putting herself in danger by doing these drugs and I do not see her improving. Are there any laws or medical rules that would permit me, or a physician to have control over her medical affairs, since I am her parent? I know she is not a minor, but I am afraid she will die because she has no home of her and and does not want to live with me. Drugs are easily accessible to her , wherever she goes. She needs to have a psychiatric evaluation, couseling, and permanent drug rehabiltation. How can I make this happen?

Hi, I am currently taking 1). Methadone 10 mg. pills 120 mg. per day. 2). dilauted 8mg. tabs 16mg. per day 3). Depakote 250 mg. tabs and I take 750 mg. per day, and 4). testosterone injections 200 mg. every 2 weeks. So here s my question, I m also taking baclofen I don t know the dose but I would think it s whatever a Dr. would prescribe to a person like me taking the meds I have listed above I take 3 tablets a day and I m currently experiencing a lot of muscle spasms so last 3 nights I took 2 baclofen at bedtime, and this morning when my wife tried to wake me up I must have been dreaming because when she asked me some pretty normal questions I gave her some strange answers to her questions, infact one question she asked me the answer I gave her involved one of my aunts that if I was awake and in a normal state of mind the aunt that I mentioned has been dead for like 8-9 years, I m just wondering if baclofen mixed w/ any of these meds I have mentioned could cause strange dreams???
