How To Treat A Painful Contusion On My Right Forearm?

I fell down my stairs a week ago Sunday and have a very large contusion on my right forearm. As it is healing and the bruising is now fading i am noticing several hard lumps in the center of it and now my arm is starting to hurt more. what could be causing this?

Hello,

As post fall there will be a direct hurt to the elbow leading to bony hurt. An x-ray will be good to look out for any signs of fracture.
Immobilization of the elbow with elbow brace is advised. Hot water fermentation and range of motion exercises to maintain the range of the elbow joint. Simple static biceps, static triceps, forearm strengthening, shoulder stability exercises should help reduce the pain and symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
