How To Treat A Breast Injury Caused By Accident?

Female, 64, no big health issues. A month ago I tripped on a metal bike stand in front of a store and fell into it, badly bruising my right bicep and injuring my right breast. Two things have happened that have me worried. When the bicep bruise had lost most of its color in a couple of weeks, a lump appeared in the middle of that area. It is tender to the touch. What is it? Approx. one week after being injured I started having brownish discharge from the middle of my right nipple. It is a very small amount and only occurs with stimulation (rubbing from my bra, or if I happen to lay on my right side at night). I have never had discharge before. It happened in the breast that was diagnosed with a fibrocystic condition approx. 25 yrs. ago. My breast is tender and occasionally aches. Is there a chance this will heal by itself? How much time should I give it to heal before I see a doctor? P.S. I do not want to have a mammogram at this time. I have had too much exposure to ionizing radiation in the past and I have read that they can cause tissue injuries. I'm already injured. Would ultrasonography and/or cytology be adequate if I need diagnostic testing in the future?
